PHP Developer (All Level)

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhancements for enterprise applications.
• Discuss/propose system requirements/designs with clients, ensuring good UI/UX interfaces.
• Research new technologies and share knowledge.
• Plan and propose improvement ideas (Kaizen) for the project team.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with PHP.
• Knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Yii, Zend.
• Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, Apache, Ubuntu.
• Experience with Magento or the ILIAS framework.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with development tools: Git/SVN, Redmine, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven, Gradle, etc.
• Experience building, maintaining, and debugging software in production environments.
• Ability to work with at least one popular MVC framework.
• Willingness to work onsite at customer locations when required.

For Senior Level

• Experience with architectural skills: strong knowledge of design patterns and software architecture.
• Solid knowledge of architectural design and ability to create technical proposals.
• Proficient in English.
• Ability to manage software development projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work with one or more other languages: Java, PHP, JavaScript, .NET, Python, Golang…
• Experience with NodeJS is a plus.
• Experience using Docker is a plus.
• Passion for new technologies and high attention to detail.
• Adaptable, flexible, and knowledgeable about the latest software and technology trends.
• Ability to work and grow in a fast-paced environment, quickly learning and mastering diverse web technologies and techniques.
• Ability to estimate projects based on user requirement documents.
• Team management skills.
• Strong command of English; Japanese proficiency is a plus.
